Jose was elected to the position of Trustee in 2022. Jose began his career as a City Carrier Assistant in 2014 and was converted to full time letter carrier in 2015. Jose became a proud Branch 36 member in the beginning of his postal career. In 2018, Jose was elected as Shop Steward by his peers. Jose’s grit and hard work launched him into new positions within Branch 36. In 2019, Jose became a Formal A Representative which allowed him to help cultivate the new carriers and stewards in multiple stations. Jose’s dedication and his eagerness to always go above and beyond for the carriers is what made him an easy choice in the election. In 2022, Jose was elected to the position of Trustee for Branch 36 where he will serve in his new position with the same honor and integrity he has throughout his postal career.
