Charlie Heege was the Master of Ceremony and Frank Orapello introduced Joe Ramos as the new Branch 36 Director of Retirees, there was a moment of silence for former Director of Retirees Pat Lucus. NALC President Emeritus Vincent Sombrotto spoke to the attendees and presented Matty Dimmler with a NALC 60 year membership pin. Matty and Vince started as letter carriers on the same day 60 years ago. Other speaker were NALC Director of Safety and Health Brian Hellmen, NBA George Mignosi and NYSALC President George Mangold. Frank Orapello also announced his pending retirement and thank the retirees for their support over the past 15 years of his preidencey. A COLCPE collection was made for $295 and a good time was had by all. We are alway happy to honor the retirees.
